Experience Music Like Never Before

Have you ever wondered just how great vinyl records can really sound….. if so, then you are in for a very special musical treat. On Saturday 31^st May, we invite you to attend our exciting Hi-Fi event at Stanley House Hotel in Mellor, which is just 5 mins from J31/M6 with free on-site parking.

The System

We have partnered with PMC Distribution to help curate a truly impressive Hi-Fi system that really has to be heard and experienced.

One of the main attractions at our event will undoubtedly be PMC’s flagship home-audio loudspeakers, the iconic and award-winning Fact Fenestria. It’s not everyday you have the opportunity to listen to a speaker of this calibre (driven to perfection with Bryston amplification).

It is worth noting that the speakers are only as good as the original source signal they receive. Therefore, we have decided to demonstrate the stunning Michell Orbe SE turntable, partnered with their recently launched Apollo/Muse MC phono stage. This ensures we can extract every ounce of musical detail from deep within the record groove.

Our main event objective is to showcase just what is possible with music reproduction. It is worth highlighting that both PMC and Michell Audio also have some wonderful sounding products sub £3000 and when these are partnered well, they will also provide many hours of musical enjoyment too.

The Music Sessions

There will be a total of 6 x 45 minute music sessions, starting on the hour, each hour between 12pm-6pm. Each session will focus on a specific music genre or theme. Anyone attending our event can choose to attend as many or as few sessions as they would like. In-between sessions, you can enjoy a drink at the hotel bar or order some delicious food at Fred’s Brasserie.

S1 – 12:00pm (Mixed Genres)
S2 – 1:00pm (Music Mastered/Produced Using PMC Speakers)
S3 – 2:00pm (Jazz & Classical)
S4 – 3:00pm (Pink Floyd – Wish You Were Here LP – In Full)
S5 – 4:00pm (Blues & Americana)
S6 – 5:00pm (Classic Rock)

As you can see there is something for everyone and you can attend those sessions that best match with your own musical tastes.

Not to spoil too many surprises before our event but this will be your opportunity to ‘Experience’ classic pieces of ‘Music Like Never Before’. Here are just a few sneak peaks from our planned vinyl playlists:

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Pink Floyd’s seminal album: Wish You Were Here, released in 1975, we will be playing the whole album from start to finish in Session 4 (S4).
