Ruark R410

Not everyone has the room to accommodate a Hi-Fi system comprising of separates (multiple boxes) or maybe you are searching for that perfect second system for another room. If so, we have a great solution for you, the Ruark R410 music system.

My own relationship with Ruark goes back some 30+ years when they were first producing superb-sounding speakers. A particular customer favourite were the iconic Ruark Talisman a ‘British classic’ loudspeaker in the 90’s. Ruark Audio is still a British family owned business and is ran by the founder and managing director Alan O’ Rourke.

Ruark are now well known for their award-winning ‘music systems’ and ‘smart radios’, we have decided to add the Ruark R410 to our demo portfolio. The award-winning R410 really is the fine example of a ‘modern music system’ solution. You can either use on its own (as a wireless music streamer) or you can easily add additional sources etc to the hub, if you wish to expand the system e.g:

• Turntable (Take advantage of the integrated Moving Magnet phono input (e.g. pair with a Rega Planar 1 £299).
• Televison (Connect the R410 to your TV and use as a soundbar via the HDMI eARC input).
• CD player (Either use a compact USB CD drive or connect any CD player to the line or optical inputs).
• Subwoofer (Add an optional sub for more bass, although the R410 is really great on it’s own!).

What totally amazed us was the high-performance sound emanating from this beautiful piece of furniture. It produces a big/full sound that is capable filling moderate sized rooms.

The R410 is available in two finish options (Walnut or Soft Grey) and is priced at £1299. We have opted for the R410 in Soft Grey on demo.
