Music Evening #3 - Chord Electronics

Following on from two successful music evenings held in September, we are pleased to confirm our next exciting event at our Preston showroom:

Chord Electronics | Thursday 27th October (6-9pm)

Maurice Tryner, Chord Electronics (UK sales manager) will be co-hosting our 3rd musical evening later this month. Maurice will be available to answer any of your questions/queries and chat all things music too.

You are welcome to bring along a few of your own ‘favourite vinyl records’ and we are happy to stream music too, so you can experience just how great your chosen piece of music can sound, when played on our main showpiece system (see below).

Every event will have a relaxed ‘open house’ feel, come along, and listen to some amazing sounding Hi-Fi systems. Relax with a cold beer, glass of wine or coffee whilst listening to your favourite piece of music on your chosen system, on the night.

Note – we will mostly focus on demonstrating products/systems NOT normally here on display in the showroom. Therefore, you can experience and hear something totally NEW during each event.

We will have three fantastic audio systems set-up at different price points, throughout the showroom featuring award-winning products from this iconic British Hi-Fi brand.

Main System
At the heart of our main system comprises of the newly launched ULTIMA 3 Pre and ULTIMA 6 Power combination. You can read the superb What-Hi-Fi review HERE.

Our sources on the night will be a Rega Planar 10 turntable into a HUEI mm/mc phono stage. Innuos Zen Mk3 music server feeding the legendary DAVE dac and HUGO M-SCALER. Loudspeakers TBC. Note – we will be cabling our main system throughout with Chord Company Signature cables.

System 2
This impressive yet compact system features the HUGO TT2 into a pair of Acoustic Energy AE1 Active speakers. Our source will be an Innuos Pulse Mini streaming music to the versatile Hugo TT2 pre/dac.

System 3
We will have two headphone systems set up featuring the popular MOJO 2 + POLY a superb Dac & streaming combination for listening to music either on the move or in comfort at home. Lastly, we are pairing the QUTEST Dac with ANNI headphone amplifier, streaming music via a Bluesound Node.
